A volunteer parent who has experienced prematurity will be available Every Friday from 12pm to 3pm in the maternity ward's parameter taking room to offer:
- Attentive and compassionate listening
- Practical advice and emotional support for parents of premature newborns.

Organize a mentoring system between mothers whose babies are in the neonatal unit and volunteer mothers who have had this experience. Organize monthly coaching sessions for mothers, aimed at:
- Create a space for expression and sharing
of experiences. - Encourage mutual assistance and moral support
between mummies. - Offering practical advice on care
for premature babies.

This program of activities was designed to support the families of premature newborns hospitalized in the neonatology department of the Douala Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital. It is part of the ELONGA Association's mission to provide multifaceted support and will serve as a basis for implementing our interventions in this pilot hospital.

psychological and social support for families of premature newborns.

- Implement activities tailored to the needs identified in the neonatology department.
